The gpkg tool is the command-line GNUpdate package management tool. It provides functionality similar to the rpm, dpkg, and apt-get tools.

The gpkg tool currently supports basic querying of packages, as well as installation. However, this should not be attempted on a production machine, as many of the important features of libpackman (such as conflict checking) is not implemented.
