The libpql (Package Query Language) library provides a mechanism
for querying online package databases running gnups.
Programs that use this library can determine if there are newer
versions of themselves and optionally auto-upgrade themselves,
requiring that the user do very little to stay up-to-date.
The libpql library is currently unusable, as it has not been updated
to work with the latest versions of libgnurdf and
